Have a Question?

Frequently Asked Questions

Determining if your insurance covers infusion therapy is a straightforward process. Your insurance plan determines if your infusion therapy falls under its coverage and what your out-of-pocket costs will be. To find out, contact your insurance company directly.
Preauthorization is often a necessary process that your insurance company may require before approving coverage for infusion therapy. It entails submitting the necessary paperwork for your treatment to your insurance company to get approval for your treatment. However, keep in mind that the authorization process can take several weeks, so it is important to start the process as soon as possible.
A copay is a fixed amount you’re required to pay for each visit during infusion therapy. The copay amount will vary depending on your insurance plan.
Your deductible represents the out-of-pocket amount you must cover before your insurance kicks in to support your infusion therapy costs. Once you have met your deductible, your insurance will begin covering your treatment expenses.
Coinsurance is the percentage of your infusion therapy cost that becomes your responsibility after meeting your deductible. For example. If your coinsurance is 20%, you’ll be responsible for covering 20% of the expense for each infusion therapy visit.
After you’ve received your infusion therapy bill, the next step involves filing an insurance claim with your insurance company. Your infusion center can help you with the filing process.
For inquiries regarding your insurance coverage, it’s recommended that you speak directly with your insurance company. Additionally, your infusion center can provide assistance and address any insurance-related questions you might have.
An infusion center is a physical center that provides services for administering infusion or injectable medications under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

We share your eagerness to kick off the treatment process, and our enthusiasm is matched by our dedication to delivering the most accurate information. We clarify your out-of-pocket expenses, such as deductibles, and whether or not your plan requires prior authorization for this treatment.

The standard turnaround can usually take up to 15-20 business days for a determination once any authorization has been initiated. In our role as prior authorization specialists, we are diligently engaged in consistent follow-ups with the insurance company to ensure the swiftest resolution possible.
Wow! What a great question! If you have a plan eligible for “co-pay assistance”, your authorization specialist working with you will verify your eligibility. Should you qualify, we will be more than happy to guide you through the process of signing up for assistance.
While opting for what might seem like an easier or even “cheaper” route, it’s in your best interest for us to initiate a conversation with your insurance company first. This lets us determine if there are any responsibilities on your part, if any, and allows us to come up with a solution that will benefit you in a cost-efficient manner that also prioritizes your needs. Your satisfaction and well-being will always be our primary focus.
