3M Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning Discs quickly remove cork or paper gaskets and form-in-place gasket material prior to assembling drive train components, engine blocks, heads, and valve covers.
SCOTCH-BRITE 3″ ROLOC SURFACE CONDITIONING DISCS – Surface Conditioning Discs combined with the quick “1/2 turn on, 1/2 turn off” 3M Roloc disc fastening system. Quickly removes cork or paper gaskets and form-in-place gasket material prior to assembling drive train components, engine blocks, heads, and valve covers. Best used on steel parts. The 3M Roloc System requires use of the 3M Roloc + Holder (PN07500). Product is sold by the individual 3″ disc.
NOTE:
Coarse Grade – Brown disc and is similar to a coated abrasive grit of 80 – 100.
Medium Grade – Maroon disc and is similar to a coated abrasive grit of 100 – 120.
