SP Corecell A500 Contour / Scrim Core Sheets

SP CORECELL A500 CONTOUR/SCRIM CORE – Corecell A-Foam has very high ductility and damage tolerance, as well as high tolerance for heat and chemical exposure. A-Foam’s cell size is fine which allows very low resin absorption, saving both weight and cost. All sheets are built with superior uniformity that creates low density variation between each board. Corecell is suitable for use with all polyester, vinylester and epoxy resins. It is tough and easy to machine and does not inhibit epoxy curing mechanisms. Corecell is a great product for use as buoyancy foam and as sandwich core material in the structures of integral diesel fuel tanks. Contour/Scrim Corecell is contoured and bonded to a glass scrim, this foam is suitable for hand lay-up applications. Product is sold by the individual 2′ x 4′ sheet. Density: 5 lb/cubic foot.

NOTE: 1-3/16″ squares are knife-cut for minimum resin accumulation between the gaps.
